Today I Turn Three

Today I am one, two… THREE

And I just can’t wait to see

All the things that I can do

Now that I’m not a terrible two

Ninja rolls and back flips

Climbing walls without suction grips

Fighting baddies, fighting fires

Fighting battles down to wires

Taller, faster, leaner, meaner

Cleaner, greener and such a dreamer

I am three, which means I am free

To be absolutely, fabulously, crazy me

- Cat Heffernan

About Turning Three

I wrote this poem to celebrate my youngest wildling turning three.

And not just to celebrate the occasion itself, but to capture the wonderful version of the world he lives in - where epic adventures are waiting at every turn and corner.
